The Kids had A Blast!
Although it may have been a little short on the fish catching part since we caught like about.... none we all had a great time hanging out together. We met up with the Mabbs at the lake where they had heard the fish were released the day before. Since it was Thanksgiving the day before I think the fish ate too much that day and were just sleeping in. Hailey really wanted to catch a fish in fact she kept saying on the way home that is was fun accept she didn't catch any fish. Heavin on the other hand didn't really care much. She just wanted to collect sticks and rocks. She went on a walk with her Dad and happened to find a piece of Bamboo that her Aunt Chrissy pointed out looked like a flute. Someone had infact tried to make it into a flute. She was so happy with her great treasure that she didn't care at all if we caught a fish or not. After trying to catch fish for awhile and only coming up with worms which my niece Paige loved. She even took the rest home as her pets, she is so motherly to animals. Anyway we then had a nice little picnic. Kaeli my other niece agreed with Hailey on the fact that they wanted to catch a fish nothing else and although they did have fun they were still a little disappointed. On our way home we drove up to the exit 2 bridge at the river and collected rocks that we brought home and put in our yard. Now this was one of my favorite past times so I had a blast. I could have done it all day long. The girls really enjoyed it as well. They love Rocks just like there Mommy.
